| | I still remember clearly how hesitated i am last night on today’s trip to the island. Wendy was forbade from going beyond the waist level and therefore, she is not going to join me snorkeling. While both of us were waiting for bus for more than one hour this morning, we almost cancel our plan and thinking of going ODEC instead. (ODEC is the name of the beach in our varsity) Somehow, we got onto the bus and stick to our plan without any enthusiasm. We thought of going to a new island, the Sulug island. As it is an unknown island and rarely visited by tourists, we was told that we might have to wait for hours for the boat. Reluctantly, we go for Manukan. Again.. It was really cheap though. RM 15 per person.
Once we got there, we were told that a person was drowned in less than half an hour ago. Honestly, I was disturbed and was trying so hard to not to think about it. Hoping that I wont bump into his dead body while I was snorkeling, I went straight into the sea, forgetting to apply some sunblock.
Unexpectedly, I had fun snorkeling alone: swimming among schools of fishes, observing how the clown fish swirling around the anemone, chasing some rare fish, and playing with sea cucumbers and seaweed. It cast my mind back to my first few dives. I begin to wonder when am I going to log my… erm… 5TH dive. Hehehe.
The sea was rough in the afternoon, to the extend that the lifeguard do not allow us to stay in the sea. It was raining, very windy, and damn cold, exactly like the weather when we went there last year. But I had a great time, with a great company. This is probably one of my best trips. At the end of the day, I begin to realize that sometimes when you do not have high expectations; things might turn out to be great.

this picture is taken a year ago. din manage to take pictures with new frens we met there today.
